Itinerary

Day 1: NAIROBI EXCURSION
On your arrival at the airport you are met by our representative, drive to Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel and later pick up at 9-10am for David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you will interact with orphaned baby elephants (11am12pm). Later proceed to Giraffe Centre where you will feed and kiss Rothschild’s giraffe followed by Carnivore Restaurant for your carnivore lunch experience. After lunch proceed to Bomas of Kenya, where you will be welcomed by Kenyan rich culture inform of traditional dances from all 42 Kenyan tribes. Dinner and overnight at Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel Nairobi.

Day 2: NAIROBI- SAMBURU
Wake up early and take your breakfast by 7am, leave Nairobi and drive north to Samburu National Reserve to arrive at around 1400 hours in time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. After lunch relax and refresh then proceed for evening game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the Reticulated Giraffe, the Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: FULL DAY IN SAMBURU
Wake up early and take a cup of coffee then proceed for an early game drive in this lush and region of North then return to the lodge for main breakfast and relax by swimming pool or at your own leisure till later in the evening for another game drive. The water of Ewaso Ny’iro River attracts a profusion of game. This area is known for the rare species of wildlife that are endemic and only found in Northern Kenya (Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich ). On this day you will have a morning and evening game drive with lunch at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: SAMBURU- LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast depart Samburu close the equator as you drive southwards to Lake Nakuru National park. Drive through scenic Thomson falls, rift valley view point and Menengai crater to arrive in Flamingo Hill Camp in time for lunch. Later around 4pm start game drives at Lake Nakuru National Park which is a soda lake whose waters are often covered by a living carpet of thousands of flamingos and plains that are home to the lion, both white and black rhino’s, buffaloes, leopards and large herds of waterbuck among other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp.

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU-MAASAI MARA
After an awakening breakfast proceed for a game drive enroute to mighty Masai Mara one of the Africa’s best loved parks. Each year the Mara is staging ground for the fascinating great migration, one of the most awe- inspiring natural events in the world. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 6: FULL DAY IN MAASAI MARA
This full day is spent game viewing, after breakfast, leave the lodge with picnic lunch (to be taken on the banks of river Mara surrounded by wildlife) and start exploration of this park in search of the Big Five including a visit to the Mara River, to experience the migration of the wildebeest. After game drive, you will meet with Masai Moran and visit Masai village with him. You will join singing and dancing and admire their beautiful beadworks and brilliant clothes. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
On this day you can choose to experience Balloon ride over Mara plains which is an outstanding optional activity that costs USD500.

Day 7: MAASAI MARA-LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast, depart and drive to Lake Naivasha where you arrive in time for lunch. After lunch spend the evening boat riding, visit the crescent island or spend the evening at your own leisure. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.

Day 8: LAKE NAIVASHA-AMBOSELI
After Breakfast drive to Hell’s Gate National Park and ride or walk as you enjoy the wildlife to be found in this park, this is a chance to get near wild zebras, giraffes, impalas among other wildlife. You will also get a chance to visit amazing gorges including the devil’s bedroom.
Later depart the park drive to Mai Mahiu for lunch and proceed to the famous Amboseli National Park where you arrive in time for dinner at Kibo Safari Camp/Sopa Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Camp/lodge.

Day 9: Full day in Amboseli National Park
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, you will start game drives in Amboseli N.P. with lunch break at Observation hill where you will have another chance to enjoy majestic views of Kilimanjaro and wildlife.

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain game. Dinner and overnight at Camp/lodge.

Day 10: AMBOSELI-NAIROBI
This morning we rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. Later depart the park via Namanga, Kenya-Tanzania border route, with lunch en route to Nairobi. Drop off at a Nairobi Hotel of your choice or at Airport for your flight to the next destination marking the end of the safari with unforgettable memories.
