Lake Nakuru is one of the best locations to enjoy the fabulous water birds and other bird species. It provides a spectacular view of the birds from the renowned Baboon Cliff, where you get an excellent view over the lake, and the wonderful spectacle of pink flamingos along its edge. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives.

Hell’s Gate: Named for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries, the Hell’s Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. Hell’s Gate is an ideal venue for a day trip from Nairobi where, in addition to the bio-diversity that includes raptors, visitors can enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing and a natural spa.

Maasai Mara: The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is one of the best places in Africa for wildlife viewing. Game drives are a great way to experience the park and they take place all year round. Situated in south-west Kenya it is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system.

This 5-Day adventure to live up to the African Safari experience with a wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from the Magnificent Caves and Hill of Hell’s Gate, Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges and the wilderness that is the Masaai Mara Game Reserve.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Lake Nakuru National Park

Our Safari starts by driving to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley View Point. Across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the Rift Valley’s most famous bird Sanctuary-Lake Nakuru- Known all over the world for its flamingos. The lake’s water is alkaline and it is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world.

Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingoes, of course, represent jewel of the park. At various times of the year, the population of Flamingoes may surpass the 2million mark in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore.
We will arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive after a bit of rest.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast you will have a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru before departing and proceeding to Hell’s Gate National Park where you will have a chance to cycle or walk as you enjoy wildlife here. Hell’s Gate National Park lies to the south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya, North West of Nairobi. The park, which is mainly, comprised of savannah ecosystem harbors a wide variety of wildlife. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, augur buzzard, and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to klipspringer antelope.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Masaai Mara National Reserve
The day begins with early breakfast then have a nature walk which gets very near to a variety of wildlife to be found in Crater Lake Sanctuary. Later drive to Lake Naivasha for optional boat ride then drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The Mara holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of millions of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators. Arrive in time for dinner then refresh and enjoy your dinner and Overnight Stay at AA Lodge Mara/similar.

Day 4:  Full Day in Masaai Mara
After breakfast we embark on a full day game drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife and its one of the few places where it’s possible to see the big five during a morning’s game drive (at times all of them in the same day). Masai Mara is perhaps the only place you can enjoy the same authenticity as it was a century ago.

For the bird enthusiasts, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these are 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sun birds.

Enjoy your packed lunch on the banks of Mara River as you watch hippos competing with crocodiles for the best spot to sunbath. During Migration you may witness crocodiles taking down wildebeests and zebras in Mara river as lions and leopards waits for their turn along the banks.

Day 5: Masaai Mara – Nairobi
Our final day of our walk in the WILD SIDE begins at 6am with an ealry breakfast before starting sun rise game drive or Nature walk with the Masai Moran. Later we depart for Nairobi with lunch en-route then arrival in Nairobi at late afternoon. Guest will be facilitated to access their flights back home or any other destination. Alternatively, you can choose to be dropped at your hotel in Nairobi from where you can leave at your own pressure. We Remain Committed to Making Your Stay Here as Comfortable as Possible.
