Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve
Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel at around 0800hrs, drive through The Great Rift Valley and have a stopover at the view point for photo session then drive to Narok Town for lunch, afterwards proceed to Masai Mara, arrive in the afternoon and get settled at your safari camp. An evening game drive will follow to explore the famous game reserve famous for its variety of wildlife like lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes and other animals of the same order. The accent here is on the Masai people and the fabulous wealth of wildlife, birdlife, and natural flora to be found in the fabled Masai Mara Game Reserve. Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Camp or similar.

Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara National Reserve.
A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.

On this day there is an option of early morning Hot air Balloon safari then proceed with the normal program. An evening Masai village visit is also optional. Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Camp or similar.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve-Nakuru
Pre breakfast game drive, return to campsite for late breakfast and leave your camp for Lake Nakuru arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Lanet Matfam Resort/ Hotel CityMax/WCK Hostels.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru-Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, proceed for an extensive morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park. Lake Nakuru is known for its millions of flamingoes and other water birds. Leave Lake Nakuru National Park and proceed to Amboseli National Park, with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Nyati Safari Camp.

Day 5: Amboseli – Tsavo West National park
Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks cover a massive 4% of Kenya’s total land area. Tsavo East is the larger of the two, both parks lies, equidistant between Nairobi and Mombasa.

After an early breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park. Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here is a favorite haunt of hippos and crocodiles. Picnic lunch then proceed for an evening game drive to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, Zebra, eland, rhino and a wide variety of antelope. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Camp.

Day 6 :Tsavo West – Tsavo East National park
We leave the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to Tsavo East National park. Game is viewed as we exit the park. This park was famed for its large herds of elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery. We visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (attracts elephants in the drier season) and Aruba Dam as we view game if time permits. Dinner and overnight stay at Lion Hill Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Tsavo East National park
Full day spent exploring the park. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Meals and overnight stay at Lion Hill Safari Lodge. The landscape in Tsavo East is flat and drier than the west, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, which has plentiful crocs and hippos. Likewise, Kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks are common along the river banks.

Day 8: Tsavo East –Nairobi.
Early morning game drive. Soon after breakfast, we drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route arriving at around 1500hrs. The safari ends with drop off at your Nairobi Hotel/ Airport.
