Day by Day

Day 1:Visit Masai Mara Home of Big5 and Wildebeest Migration
We will pick you up from airport/your hotel at 7am and together depart Nairobi for Masai Mara game reserve with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point where we will have a photo session for 30minutes. We will then proceed to Masai Mara to arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Mara Game Camp.

After lunch we will relax and refresh then proceed for an evening game drive in search of black manned lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes and many other game animals before the sunset. Later we will go back to the lodge for dinner then retire to bed.

Day 2:Enjoy Game Drives in the Home of Wildebeest Migration
After breakfast we shall proceed for a game drive and spend the day across the rich tree studded grasslands and rolling hills. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffaloes, leopards, many kinds of antelopes and heards of elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

You can choose to either take packed lunch which will be served by the banks of Mara River where hippos and crocodiles bask competing for a spot to sunbath or Have a morning and evening game drive with lunch break at the lodge. Later we will go back to the lodge for dinner then retire to bed.

Day 3:Visit Hell’s Gate National Park and Crater Lake Sanctuary
After breakfast we will depart Masai Mara with game drives enroute to Naivasha with lunch break at Narok or Mai Mahiu. Later Proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park where you have the option of a game drive in a Safari vehicle or ride bikes into the Park while taking selfies with the wildlife to be found here.

Cycling in the Park is a great adventure as you get to ride the bikes for 8 Kilometers before resting at a ranger’s post. After a brief stop at the rangers post you leave the bike and start a walking safari (optional) for 2 hrs.

Enjoy the spectacular views of the gorge. The park provides a variety of wildlife, unusual flora and many species of birds and is the only Kenyan Park where climbing, walking and biking are allowed. Animals seen here include Giraffes, Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys and Porcupines amongst others.

Depart the park and drive back to Crater Lake Camp for Dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Drinking water.

Day 4:Walking Safaris then Visit Lake Nakuru
Take breakfast at 8am then have a walking safari in the Crater Lake sanctuary where you get very close to wildlife like giraffes, zebras, impalas and many others.

Later go back to the camp Enjoy your early lunch and depart the Camp by 1230HRS then proceed to Lake Nakuru National park where you arrive at Sarova LionHill Game Lodge/Lake Nakuru Lodge. around 1430HRS. Relax and refresh then proceed for a game drive, Lake Nakuru’s fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here.

The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here. Evening game drive then dinner and overnight stay at Sarova LionHill Game Lodge/Lake Nakuru Lodge..

Day 5:Visit Samburu Via Thomson’s Fall
Early breakfast then depart Lake Nakuru National Park with game drives enroute, passby Menengai Crater, Thomson’s Falls and equator to arrive at Samburu Sopa Lodge in the afternoon. Samburu is home to special 5 which are: Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe and Gerenuk and also the Big 5: Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, Leopards and Baffaloes among other wildlife. Relax and refresh then start a game drive in the evening. Later Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6:Game Drives in Samburu National Reserve Home of Special5
After breakfast proceed for a game drive in this lush region of north. The water of Ewaso Ny’iro River attracts a profusion of game including the special 5 and large herds of elephants that mostly mud bath by the river bank. You may also spot a lion, leopard or cheetah hunting. This area is known for the rare species of wildlife that are endemic. On this day you will have a morning and evening game drive with lunch at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 7:Visit Olpejeta Home To The Last Northern White Rhinos
After breakfast, depart the lodge with game drives enroute to arrive at Ol Pejeta conservancy around 11am, go direct to chimpanzee Sanctuary where you will have a chance to learn and interact with the animal that has almost the same DNA with humans. This is the only place you can see chimpanzees in Kenya however they were originally rescued from Congo. Later proceed to Sweetwater Serena Camp for lunch, after lunch relax and refresh then proceed for a evening game drive including a visit to the blind black rhino called Baraka. Dinner and overnight at the Sweetwaters Serena Camp.

Day 8:Visit Amboseli Home of Mt. Kilimanjaro
After breakfast depart the camp with game drives enroute and drive to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. This route is really beautiful with green sceneries and views of Mt. Kenya. You will have your lunch enroute before arriving at AA Amboseli lodge in the evening. If you make it early to the lodge relax and refresh by the swimming pool or have an evening walking safari to enjoy great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and wildlife around the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 9:Game drives and Great Views of Mt. kilimanjaro
After breakfast, you will have game drives in Amboseli National park where you may spot lions, cheetahs, large herds of elephants, flamingoes and other birds among other wildlife then enjoy packed lunch on Observation hill where you will have great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later depart the park with game drives enroute and go relax by the swimming pool or visit a Masai village at an extra cost. Meals & overnight at AA Amboseli lodge.

Day 10:End of Safari with Unforgettable Memories
This morning we rise early and after breakfast drive direct to the park for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Lions, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Baboons, hyenas, elephants among other wildlife and birdlife. Later depart the park via Namanga, Kenya-Tanzania border route, with lunch en route to Nairobi. Drop off at a Nairobi Hotel of your choice or at Airport for your flight to the next destination marking the end of the safari with unforgettable memories. We strongly recommend a flight departure beyond 2000hrs to avoid worries of missing your flight. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Drinking Water.
